    October 18, 2019 - Consumed over 2 nights- better on day 1.
An easy drinking fruit-forward cab with enough structure to keep it interesting. Good QPR.

August 16, 2016 - As always with Molly it's a very cheerful drinker, sure to brighten your day. Whilst people criticise them for the lack of 'terroir-ness' close your eyes and this is unmistakable cab sav. The cab sav nose always reminds me of being in a limestone cave, you know the wet earthy ones from holiday explorations with their mineral damp.

Anyway back to the actual wine, as you can guess its heavily extracted. It feels like the cab sav tannins you may expect have been filtered out which creates a really easy drinking young alcoholic fruity wine but leaves you thinking that a key component is almost completely missing. Anyhow for quick unintellectual enjoyment, twsit the cap and unleash the pleasure inside. Truth be told Id rather drink a bottle of this dark fruitcake liquid than something more intellectual but austere. Lifes too short. Drink Mollydooker and enjoy.

April 13, 2016 - Wow, inky dark & deeply aromatic w/ dark fruits & touch of minerals. Texture is fantastic w/ black cherry, plum, figs, cassis & light coffee. Dense, rich & tremendously bold!

February 8, 2016 - Rich fruit but very hot. Released too early. Based on past vintages, give it a couple years to cool down and it will rate considerably higher.

December 11, 2015 - This was typical of MD, and many other Aussie vino's, rich, ripe, jammy, a bit sweet, crowd pleasing of course. Drink soon for all the crowd pleasing fruits before they fade.

July 12, 2015 - Appearance: Bright and clear, it has deep ruby color, with fading rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, with medium intensity aromas of black fruit of blackberry and blackcurrant, oak notes of vanilla, kernel notes of chocolate, some sweet spice of mint, pungent spice of licorice. The wine is youthful.
Palate: Dry with medium acidity, the wine has medium (+) tannin of ripe and velvety texture, showing high alcohol and full body. It has medium (+) flavors of black fruit such as blackberry and cassis, pungent spice of licorice, oak notes of vanilla, kernel notes of coffee. The wine has a medium finish.
Conclusion: Good quality Australian Cabernet Sauvignon showing the ripe fruit characters of the varietal well, with fair intensity and complexity, the wine has a firm structure with good concentration, though a bit simple on the flavors, finishing with a decent length. It is ready to drink now though can benefit from further ageing of another 1-2 years.
