March 19, 2024 - Lovely dark cherry framed by chocolate and leather accents. A rich and decadent wine to pair with a rich and decadent meal. Consumed with a Coq au Vin served atop mushroom risotto.

February 3, 2023 - Drinking really well right now.

May 13, 2021 - This is not as beastly as some Amarones are in alcohol content, coming in at 15%, but it is quite elegant. Black cherries and raisins on the nose, with some pepper and leather. Medium body, and tannins. Black cherry on the palate as well, with green pepper, plum, and raisins. Great with homemade pasta and bolognese.

January 4, 2019 - Slight off flavor upon opening but it blew off. Took a full two hours in decanter to begin to open, then WOW. No sediment.served at 66F with fresh lasagne.

July 14, 2018 - Italy Ex. Piedmont & Brunello Tasting (Un-named Atlanta wine club): Tasted blind in Italy (ex. Piedmont & Brunello) Tasting

Softer than previous wines. Cherry, black cherry, green pepper on nose. Flavor profile similar on palate. Medium body, medium tannins and medium+ finish. Guessed Cab Franc / Merlot blend - never would have guessed this was an Amarone. Very elegant for an Amarone. 91+/- Finished 2nd out of 7 wines in tasting.
