May 16, 2022 - Fin sötma i kombination med bra syra. Perfekt till jordgubbsdesert.

November 8, 2020 - Sött förstås men inte för sött. Fortfarande fräscht. Lite nötig i karaktären. Hade varit perfekt till glass men nu blev det Budapeststubbe.

October 17, 2020 - Not a top example of a Mosel Beerenauslese but a nice drink. Well balanced, medium complexity, finish is too short. Dr. Loosen needs to up his game.

May 16, 2020 - WSET Level 3 Online (Week 2, Germany): The appearance is clear and medium gold in colour.

The nose is clean with medium(+) intensity aromas. There are primary aromas of mineral (crushed slate), floral characters (honeysuckle, blossom), pungent spice (saffron, ginger), and tertiary aromas of honey, dried apricot, dried nectarine, and candied orange peel. This wine is developing.

On the palate, the wine is sweet with high acidity, low alcohol, and full body. The flavours have a pronounced intensity and show primary notes of mineral (crushed slate), floral characters (honeysuckle, blossom), pungent spice (saffron, ginger), and tertiary notes of honey, dried apricot, dried nectarine, and candied orange peel. The finish has a long length.

This wine is of an outstanding quality. Can drink now, but has potential for further ageing (acidity and sugar can support ageing).

January 18, 2020 - From Coravin and half bottle. Ripe apple, custard apple, a little struck match/sulphur, a slight apricot, and a little white peach. Sweet straying to cloying; it's a little too sugary for the acidity, ripe apricot, peach backed by apple and custard apple but, as I say, with a little too much sugar. Long though. time?
