February 26, 2023 - Je m'attendais a plus de cette bouteille qui m'avait grandement impressionné il y a quelques années.
Dans l'immédiat, l'alcool est pas super bien intégré et la structure domine ce qui masque le fruit.
Je vais attendre ma dernière encore quelques années en espérant un meilleur équilibre. -

My take
Has the funk of the janasse, once past that, which most won’t make-
Broad and expansive with tension on the mid to end with the Syrah backbone.
Totally integrated fruit to tannins.

November 13, 2020 - Spectacular. A big juicy red fruit sitting atop cigar tabacco, dried rose petals. New world slant, and absolutely delicious. So sad it's my last bottle.

December 12, 2019 - Opened to breathe and enjoyed immediately at 1862, it took some time to open up, tannic at first. After 30 min or so big red and black fruit, nice complexity, great pairing with my ravioli with black truffles.
