Pas de prise de notes particulières car dîner entre amis mais la bouteille peut-être encore encavée quelques années.
La matière est dense et encore dans sa jeunesse, je dirais ouvrir la prochaine dans 8 à 10 ans pour une évolution sur arômes tertiaires si bonnes conditions de garde.

November 6, 2022 - A bit of bricking. At first a bit unbalanced and a touch tart and tannic, but about 40 minutes after decanting, things seemed to come together. This si the first bottle of the 6-pack and it was delicate and floral, both in nose and palate. Currants and roses, ripe red raspberries, a hint of cedar and mint. Not sure this keeps improving form here, but lovely.
May 5, 2022 - Dominated by red fruit, cherries and mineral around a solid backbone of acidity. Vibrant och full of energy with long aftertaste. Beautiful wine with many years of life left.
July 18, 2020 - The wine is clear, medium Ruby, thin watery rim, developing
Nose is clean, cherries, clay, spices and herbs, mineralic, volcanic, bergamot/Earl Grey, asfalt, rose petals, lavendel, deep complexity, developing
Palate is dry, medium alcohol, medium+ tannins and acidity, body and flavour intensity high dry extract with aromas of cherries, roses, bergamot, spice, lavendel, rosemary, asfalt, volcanic, very deep complexity, long finish
Very well balanced, long finish, superb structure and needs more time, very deep complexity, high concentration. This is outstanding quality with high potential for the future. 93p+
March 29, 2020 - we have been having this wine over the last year and the rating varies 89-91 and this time was bang int he middle.
A touch sweeter than we remembered less dry than last bottle and a bit more new world-ish. good wine just a bit a variabilty. 90
February 22, 2020 - The wine shows pale red color.
The wine is very shy in the nose, red cherry notes, a bit earthy and spicy, some alcohol heat, dried herbs, roasted bell peppers and olives.
The wine shows amazing palate, ripe red cherry, currant, high acidity, roasted peppers again, herbs and olives, again some alcohol heat (14%) but not so aggressive, medium body and finish.
Outstanding quality, still very young. Utterly gastronomic wine.
August 18, 2019 - Tasted blind and we really thought it was Nebbiolo, form a classic/rustic element.
A lot less impressive than last time and felt a bit dry and lacking charm. We wonder if this is bottle variation ( Tasted back in April and rated 91) of just the wine on the wrong path. Maybe we need to be drinking these sooner or just a poor vintage? We remember trying the 2007 back in 2014 and that was a standout wine at 7yrs old ( Papies 94) but could well be a vintage issue. 89 on this occasion for this 2013
April 24, 2019 - Soft red fruits, touch herby side maybe a bit of liquorce at time.
Soft and pure, devout thankfully from heavy oak or ripeness and has a charm, almost like a Burgundy in many ways albeit with a darker edge. Could lave used a bit more substance on the fruit side if we are to be very critical but really an excellent wine. 91 and drinks well now. Difficult call to make if this is now at or past it best or how it ages from here. Gladly we have a few bottles to monitor this :)
