  December 16, 2007 - Sweet fruit nose with lots of plum and raspberry and a hint of smoke. Smooth palate, fruit forward, adding a hint of tar, but overall a heavy jammy-ness with adequate structure. Medium length and complex finish. Very enjoyable, different score likely reflects change in my palate rather than changes in the wine.

  March 10, 2007 - Blind Tasting (Farpointe Cellar): The nose was a bit closed, but I did get some black currant and raspberry fruit. The palate had raspberry and black currant, mixed with some oak. The tannins were solid and it had a good finish.

  November 14, 2006 - Deep and inky with lots of fruit on the nose. Bold palate but smooth, with thick juicy layers of berries and plum balanced with hints of oak. Very complex but tight long finish. Gooey-jammy good. One of the better wines I've had this year.
