August 14, 2020 - Grape juice. No acid. Almost Manaschevitz.

August 7, 2020 - Decanted for over an hour. Still opened tight with some mild spice. Smoothed our after another hour. Good complexity with mild fruit.

July 5, 2020 - Big ripe red and a tad heavy and hot for a July night. There in a little bit of ice and enjoyed it more. Save this for a winter night Or drink at cellar temp

May 24, 2020 - So upon popping the cork this gave off a slightly raisinated/prune quality and I feared it was beginning to be past it's prime drinking window. Turns out it just needed air. I'm a fan of decanting, I even put the cheap stuff in one. This really came alive after a while. Primary, fresh fruit was still there but some nice savory elements began to show themselves. I've never held on to these wines for very long but based on this bottle I wouldn't be shy about giving it a few more years. Go ahead and pop those corks, just give themsome time in a decanter.

April 24, 2020 - My first Bevan wine and it reminded me a lot of the cabs produced by Mike Smith. Very polished, fruit forward, easy to enjoy. Not a lot of complexity to this one, but plenty of pleasure to be had.
