May 26, 2023 - Really nice. Good fruit. Touch of mint. Nice balance. Needs time.

September 21, 2022 - Intensely fruited but still yet to fully unravel
    strawberry tart, mint
palate of hints of choc and leather and regional red and dark fruit, with a hunter touch of savoury herbs
    finish long, linear and strong

Hunter magic but needs more time 4+ yrs
    94+

November 28, 2021 - Not showing as well as last bottle. The cabernet is showing further forward in the mix and the alcohol is poking through. Dark plums and black cherries, drying tannins. Will hopefully mesh together down the track… Possibly in a bit of a dumb phase right now?

September 30, 2021 - Muted blackberry and spice on the nose with a hint of menthol. The wine opens up after some time in the glass. The sweet plumpish fruit is rather light for a bigger year in the Hunter. The acid line does give a slight kick at the back of the palate but it is a food friendly wine that may soften with further time in the cellar.

November 8, 2019 - restrained nose: pomegranate, dark choc, spiced meat,
med palate weight with blood plum, jaffa, savory spice
finish long, weighty, dark red cherry.
needs the long haul 5+ and with time should be a cracker
