February 7, 2024 - Blind, 3 hour decant. Again I think the airtime hurt it some.

Lighter garnet with some bricking in the glass. Nose of cherry fruit.

Palate just seemed like old cherry fruit to me. Maybe there was a hint of leather? But if there, it wasn't much. I guessed Sangiovese but was not surprised it was a Nebbiolo.

December 7, 2023 - White Alba truffle dinner at Park Place: From magnum. Smells great with some spice notes. Concentrated on the palate. Great balance of fruit and aridity. Fairly fruity and primary still. Very good with a rabbit dish.

November 28, 2023 - Pretty aromas of anise, earth, & black truffle this shows nice secondary elements. Faded dark fruits nicely by acid backbone. Drink or hold, but at or just past peak.

November 17, 2023 - After drinking a horrible tainted bottle, I figured I would finish this one off. The final bottle did not disappoint. Throwing a lot of sediment that I filtered out in large part. Nice light ruby color with a hint of bricking. I still think there is a smidge of cork taint. Dark cherry, a bit of licorice and brisk acidity. Tannin is very mild but lingers. Drink now

November 13, 2023 - Cork Taint. Bricking, No fruit - good acidity. Barely drinkable/undrinkable. Tossed half the bottle.
