August 23, 2020 - Medium red with slight bricking. Floral, slightly smokey nose. Full range of red berries with minerals. Refreshing acidity. A nice surprise.

June 18, 2020 - Medium to light garnet red with brick edges. Layered nose with damp earth, cherries, tobacco, lavender and a bit of minerality. Medium tannins (6.5/10), with balanced acidity and a medium body. Well rounded palate with notes of dried cherries, earth and truffles. Finish was long and quite dry. Drink till 2024.

June 17, 2020 - Showing definite bricking in the glass. Clean and pure Sangiovese on the palate. I would have like a little more complexity, but I can't complain for the price.

March 8, 2020 - Showing a nice colour with brick cherry centre and a brick red rim. Lovely fragrant nose, red cherry with hints of leather and tobacco. Medium bodied on the palate, red cherry and pomegranate fruit, juicy with medium tannins and a nice finish. Good without getting to excellent. Decent QPR.

February 3, 2020 - 26 months since my previous bottle, this is still in vg shape. I had double-decanted this for sediment (only); the nose and palate took an hour or two to really come around, so if I had another, I'd be aerating in decanter for 90 minutes. Shows little age on the dark brick red core, with secondary aromas that gain in brightness, and to a slightly lesser degree, intensity as the bottle is emptied. Beautiful medium-bodied palate with great freshness, purity, and focus; med+ finish. Truly a wine with soul. 14,5% abv., drink now thru 2026. highly recommended+
