December 21, 2023 - Seriously good wine! In its drinking window no doubt. Beautiful nose … dark berry fruits, smoke, cassis, more old world nose than new. Initially a sweet nose full of ripe berries, but after a few hours, softer tones with slight hints of smoke and cigar box. Balanced tannins but still showing on the finish. A wine that coats the mouth. Aged Bordeaux like flavours, developing complexity, tea like dry finish.

August 12, 2023 - 10 years and 50 years: intense dark berries, a little sweet, some spices, herbals, oak and pencil shaving. some vegetable leaves, which is suspicious on storage or cork issue, as 2013 is a super ripe vintage. m+ body, solid acidity, grainy firm tannins, m+ finish with chocolate and cedar.
