February 28, 2021 - This was very good. Beautiful purity of fruit. Persistent finish. Had next to a 78 LLC and 80 Mouton and this had the most complete package. Interestingly, the LLC had more gravel/tar character than this one. Just a wonderful mature bottle of claret. Essentially a PNP, and drank over 4 hours.

December 22, 2019 - nose -barnyard, savory, soya, cigar, tobacco
mouth - funky, full fruited, pekmez. for me quite enjoyable but heavy brett may turn others off.

December 3, 2017 - 1976 CHATEAU LA MISSION HAUT-BRION PESSAC-LEOGNAN- another aged winner, this had a huge spicy aroma with hints of leather, cedar and cigar box complimenting the black currant fruit in the taste; it held up and finished as it started; a mild bit of sweetness came in late; enjoyable mature Bordeaux.

December 14, 2016 - This had great color but I thought the flavors were quite muted, though the wine had good depth. Shared with CT Seattle group at Sullivan's.

December 2, 2016 - This bottle was surprising, even beguiling. Light garnet in color, it had a freshness that I did not expect. It had lots of mushroom and wet earth on the nose and in the mouth, and some steely tannins on the finish, but the fruit was still present and surprisingly light on its feet. I drank this cold, straight from my cellar, but it sure was good, much better than I expected looking at the other scores. I obtained this at an auction from the original purchaser.
