April 24, 2024 - Regrettably this fell flat on its face as it was simply too old. There was a faint shadow of what this could have tasted like maybe several years ago, as it was dry and minerally with coating of butter and at a stretch perhaps even green fruits. Now the fruit had dried out and there was even a note of oxidation. A real pity as this was once a very good wine. CHP 83pts

October 3, 2023 - Same again, it’s a lovely Chablis but on day 2 it’s improved and the last glass on day 3 is spectacular. Stone fruits and honey on the nose and a tangerine oil, salty citrus palate. Even some salty honey in the mix. It’s slightly exotic but retains enough typicity. Great value and decant this to see it at its best 17.5<18

August 12, 2023 - Geoff7777 has this spot on - it has an unnerving astringency on opening that it only loses after twenty four hours - it eventually settles down to be a delicious pale and subtle chablis but sadly my last bottle, I think this may well improve with a little more time

July 11, 2023 - Reassuringly undeveloped in colour, the nose is muted on opening and needs time before the Chablis typicity and quality of the vintage shows. Even better on day 2, so decant and don't serve too chilled 17.

    December 12, 2021 - From 375
    Pale straw colored
Light citrus, grapefruit nose and flavors, with a slight briny feel. Sharp edges totally rounded out with a leesy note in the finish
Probably peak drinking, though not showing signs of fading. Better with food. Great at this level and price.

April 29, 2021 - (Tasted from half bottle) starts off a bit shy but quickly opens up; fresh, salty minerals, honeyed green tea, chamomile, lemon and green apple fruits that widen out on the midpalate more than one would think at first. There is a certain texture/oily quality that provides more richness than the Champ Royeaux. Appears to be aging slowly though lacking the focus/clarity to take you to that next level. I will try again soon. 89+ (?)

December 24, 2020 - This is why I rarely buy domestic chardonnay. At $20, you would be hard pressed to find a domestic competitor for less than $50 that comes close. This wine had wonderful citrus/lemon. Classic flavors and it is the entry level Fevre.

December 18, 2020 - This is better than its $20 price. It has classic lemon citrus flavors seen in Fevre higher priced versions. A keeper.

September 6, 2020 - One of the lowest priced Fevre products, and it shows it. It is still a nice wine for the price, but I would probably prefer to pay a bit more for a more middle level Fevre and enjoy it more.
