July 29, 2021 - Good early drinking. Dark fruits, good structure, vibrant fruit. Very NSG in style. Will get better with more age. Good now.

May 22, 2021 - Tenth Anniversary Magnum Celebration (Dig Wines and Piccino Restaurant, San Francisco): Magnum. Ruby. Brambly red fruit and herbs. Green, stems, and soil with some remaining grip. Good.

April 29, 2021 - I have been waiting to open my first bottle from a case. Medium red, good acidity, no noticeable nose, leans toward more of a dry tannin note on the back of the palate but loads of sweet dark fruit flavours that are starting to emerge . The fruit flavours open up more as you drink the bottle. Drinkable now. Suggest if you drink this you decant or leave the bottle for an hour. This is going to blossom into a great wine in a couple of years. I will try and keep my hands off opening more. Excellent wine.

January 7, 2021 - From 375ml. Still young. Some good red berries and a stemmy note on the nose. On the palate this is rich with good concentration. Also quite young on the palate. Open business yet with some hints of austerity. Red and black berries, earth, stems and whole cluster goodness. Given the format here I'd say hold and these will get better. 90 today with 92-92 upside.

January 2, 2021 - Upon first opening nose is dominated by herbal phenolic notes reminiscent of Chateau Simone, along with some red fruits, flavors are of tart cherry and cranberry, with the phenolic herbal/tobacco leaf notes. A little tannic mild acidity, long finish. After a couple hours the herbal/phenolic notes calm down and the fruit comes forward and it is very nice as things seem more integrated. The fruit plus herbal notes allows for a nice complexity. 7 hours after opening and flavors/nose are fruit only and very nice this is a nice one to let evolve so that you can experience all of the different characteristics of the wine. Very nice.
