August 28, 2023 - Still very good after 10 years, but I am sure it was better 3 years ago!
June 19, 2018 - Actually better the second day. Nicely balanced CC with typical sour cherry front end and licorice back end. Enjoyed.
October 22, 2017 - Nothing stands out. High acidity, a little diluted.
August 8, 2017 - A bit of a generic , fruity red. Lacks structure and the tannic edge that I associate with a good Italian wine. Pleasant but not distinguished
June 24, 2017 - Typical faded red colour. Mild cherry aroma. Great cherry/plum taste with nicely balanced acidity. Punchy but very little aftertaste. Good on its own and with sausage tomato pasta.
May 16, 2017 - Elegant and semi-dry with just enough earth and cherry. Tight, bright and medium-bodied. A hint of tobacco and cedar on the finish. Nothing like a nice Chianti. [INSERT HANNIBAL LECTER JOKE HERE]
April 30, 2017 - Pop and pour and tasted with food (Thai fried rice with pork, in case you were wondering), and followed for about 4 hours without food.
Nose shows some red clay dust and dark fruit. Flavors lean towards a balance of dark cherries and a savory mushroom and red clay component. While simple, this Chianti is engaging and enjoyable.
March 17, 2017 - Dry and delightful.
December 30, 2016 - Nice Chianti with cherries and spice.
June 5, 2016 - Full bodied, long finish.
