April 11, 2020 - Drank over three days. Best on day three. Better than the last bottle. Needs a few years yet. Nose is berry ice cream with hint of barnyard. The barnyard blows off after a day or two. Merlot dominates. Grounded, low-key, quiet and almost dainty. The texture is alluring. Feels like cashmere gliding down the Ruud Hullit.

December 27, 2018 - Decanted for 2-3 hours. It definitely needed it. Even after 2 hours it was still tight and a bit of a single high note. With food and more time it was a nice wine though.

November 15, 2017 - Chateau Figeac Dinner with Frederic Faye (Farr Vintners London): Fresh and juicy, quite vibrant. Probably acidity a tiny bit sharp for my liking. I preferred the 2012 Petit Figeac today, but a good easy/early drinking wine nonetheless.

October 15, 2017 - Drank over 3 days. Red fruits with some black fruits lurking in the background. Most enjoyable on Day 3 when the black fruits really came through. Drinks like a Merlot. Medium-bodied. Nice balance and delivery. Dry on the finish. Okay length. Hint of depth. Verdict: Nice wine, but not particularly 'special'.
