  November 25, 2021 - Brought as a pre-Thanksgiving wine. Really solid bottle and, again, makes me want to open the Harvest Moon, to see what the reserve bottling is doing. High-toned red-fruit with a fresh and restrained sweet character with some herbal notes. Finished fairly long. This will still keep and improve for a few years.

  August 29, 2021 - To me, this is what I've come to think of as classic, mature SCM cabernet for a well-made, reasonably priced bottle. Medium-bodied, fresh, with high-toned red fruits mixed with eucalyptus and other forest notes. Medium to long finish. Not a stunner, but appropriately elegant. Paired so well with hanger steak, sweet potatoes, and creamed broccoli. Looking forward to see what the Harvest Moon tastes like from this vintage.

  August 7, 2021 - Not sure what’s a going on but my last few of these has been somewhat inconsistent. Excellent nose but taste is jammy and quite sour.
