  January 11, 2019 - Theme was brown bag, blind. No one came close to guessing this, despite cellar knowledge. Dark purple color, looked quite young. Complex nose, dark fruit dominated. Soft and smooth on the palate, very little tannins, but a big wine nonetheless. Lots of fruit, little acid, but plenty of complexity. Long finish. Could go a few more years without difficulty, might improve a bit. One taster was surprised at the Mourvèdre percentage, thought there would be more - there was a sweetness that he thought came from the Mourvèdre.
  Day 2 - gained some complexity, fruit was not quite as dominant, though still plenty of fruit.
