January 22, 2022 - Smoky and savoury. Raspberry and redcurrant to go with the smoke. Medium bodied, still has a core of sweet red fruits. Leans more savoury overall, drinking pretty well but maybe another 3-4 years to hit a peak?

May 12, 2020 - PnP. Some spice and dark berries. Pleasant enough. I expect it will improve from here, but alas it was my last bottle

July 10, 2016 - Hunter Valley 2016 Trip #2: Spice, meat, ash and earth with some redcurrant as well. Steps up the depth over the Hunter's Shiraz before it. The same acid profile is there, but it definitely feels like it sits within a more complete package. Vibrant and structured, this seems very very good at the moment.

April 30, 2016 - Hunter Valley 2016 Trip #1 (Hunter Valley, Australia): Cherry, spice and earth with some redcurrant and floral notes. Good brightness within three fruit and acidity gives this a really pretty profile. Really good length and style here.

August 17, 2015 - Nice Hunter shriaz that makes the most of the great '14 vintage. This is ok now but in 5 years will ad at least 2 points to the rating, loads of structure with lovely lighter fruit prevalent. Top drop
