January 5, 2018 - It’s a good wine, not great but good. Mainly Black cherries on the nose. On the palate, black and red cherries and some smoke. A little thin but nice, food friendly acidity and medium tannin.

October 28, 2017 - This is rustic with tart dried fruit, leather, and considerable tannin, but seems to have the right age to bring together, and with a very nice texture. Lovely with dinner.

September 5, 2017 - Red berry, mineral and leather nose. Dry, medium bodied with a broad texture, and a firm tannic backbone.

July 26, 2016 - At the winery: Dried red fruits, cherry; very astringent, dry tannins, austere with a touch of licorice, not fruity; very dry, med. body. Ho-hum. 60% SG, 15 Merlot, 15% Sagrantino, 2nd year oak barrels.

May 25, 2016 - Lots of acidity, not much taste behind. Not my style.

March 31, 2016 - PnVnD let air for 1hr. Purple crimson not dense claret colour with plum to clear rim. Earthy sassafras plum macerated fig and espresso on the nose. Medium weight with cherry skin and black tea tannin. Earthy mineral sour raspberry balsamic rhubarb tobacco and sassafras on the palate. Lots of flavours and compexity slightly unbalanced and acidic on the finish and weak in the mid-palate.
