October 12, 2018 - Crazy amount of residue but we enjoyed this - definitely in the window.

February 10, 2012 - Nice, subtle wine. Bought during Napa trip in May, 2006, stored well. When first opened, was slightly harsh. After 30 minutes, really mellowed in the glass, and became very pleasant. Dark cherry color, hearty nose, and complex palate. Long finish. We enjoyed, and would say it's ready to drink now. I would not wait.

March 19, 2011 - Bought in 2006 on a trip to Napa. Stored in unideal conditions for the last 5 years. Brought to a winemakers meeting as one to share. Cork actually broke in half when I opened it and I was concerned about what was inside. Had a nice nose to it, but the first tastes were very hot and I thought maybe I had missed the prime. Over the next hour, the flavor mellowed out well and this wine was very enjoyable. By hour two, the wine was heading in the wrong direction. The last glass was cloudy and full of sediment. Overall, I was surprised at how well it tasted from the 30 minute mark to about an hour. If you still have a bottle, you should probably open and enjoy. There doesn't seem to be much life left here, but what short life there is was pretty tasty.

November 10, 2009 - Always one of my favorites. Complex flavors make it consistently interesting.

July 2, 2009 - Wine's nose is sour cherries, cranberry, red meat, some yeast notes. Taste is big juicy plums, and black pepper. Big juicy, viscous wine. Just what I was looking for tonight. So far it's rating a 92+
