April 13, 2024 - Pop and pour, no decant. It's pretty good although might be on the down side of the hill. Leather and savory flavors on the nose. On the palate, savory flavors dominate the fruits. The fruits, mainly cherry with hints of stew plum still come through. The finish is medium long.

July 4, 2021 - Its getting better, over time. Still would benefit for a year or two in the cellar

August 15, 2020 - Wine has been cellared at 60 degrees and 55% humidity since purchased in 2017. Decanted for 1.5 hours and served with grilled ribeye. Very nice for price paid. Classic Brunello profile with good fruit and soft tannins. Plan to consume other bottle soon.

January 29, 2019 - I was surprised to find this was better than the last time I tasted this wine. This time it was not so thin or hot. Some medicinal flavors, cherry, and a bit of fruit. The odd nutty flavor was gone. Maybe last bottle was somewhat flawed. I'd still say this is not an exceptional wine, particularly given other 2010s in Montalcino, but it is good. Wish I had another bottle to see if it gets better...
