  March 17, 2023 - This wine is still drinking very well after 12 years. What i look for in a Napa Cab. Opened 4hr before; Dark ruby color with some bricking; Earthy, brambles, forest, leather and spice nose; bright, juicy, stewed red fruit, soft slightly chewy tannins, cocoa; medium bodied (not as robust as younger vintages); smooth slightly tannic finish. Will probably keep for a few more years but I'd drink now.

  January 10, 2023 - A joyful cab that’s shining after a decade or so of good cellaring. Certainly tannic on open but we bottle decanted an hour. Got approachable really quickly. Delicious, bold blackberry fruit, whisps of toasted bread, wet stone, and roasted veggie. This can cellar for another 5-8 yrs. Enjoy!

  March 20, 2022 - 3rd of 3 bottles. Briefly decanted. I drank all 3 of these in a relatively condensed period of time, as the first 2 bottles were so amazing. This last bottle had tannic structure and fruit to suggest this can probably go on for another decade or so if stored properly. Ridiculously delicious now, would decant 1+ hours if opening in the next couple years.

  February 15, 2020 - Cruising along nicely, but not much in the way of tannins survive at this point. Drink over the next few years.
