Decent color, but otherwise this has lost all its charm, and not left with much.

December 1, 2011 - Garnet color with a little discoloration on the rim. The nose is very pervasive, with black currant and earthy notes upfront, along with leather and pencil shaving. On the palate it is medium bodied, elegant, with delicate dark fruit flavors and hints of toasty oak. It finishes very smooth, with little tannins and some dusty black cherry. This wine has probably been aged a little been too long, the fruit is fading and there isn’t much of a structure left (retail $34.99)
