March 9, 2013 - PnP and there is a lot going on initially - herbs (lavender and rosemary) on the nose, dark fruits up front, and oak influences (chocolate, vanilla, and coffee) on the finish- but its all a bit disjointed. With about 45 minutes of air this really comes together. The herbs and oak influences subside, and leave a beautiful red fruited wine with striking earthy and mineral flavors.

November 25, 2012 - From memory - full bodied, dominated by dark fruit and earthy tannins showing grittiness in the back-end. Quite tasty, but not as refined and lush as the reserve bottling.
