May 24, 2019 - Rich and still fruity, with tamed tannins.
June 8, 2018 - Always reliable for a dark tar and tobacco bout. Held for five plus years to soften a bit. Not everyone's taste, but I love it.
June 2, 2018 - $12 wine. Let it breathe a few hours and you will truly enjoy.

January 11, 2018 - wow ! what a bargain...upon opening, dark fruit, cherry; tart, medium/high acidity; moderate tannic backbone; as hours passed, mellowed into a relatively complex, more accessible blend; licorice, blackberry; finish was clean a relatively short; 2nd day more of the same and a little better. Best QPR I have had in years...but must have air for min 6 hours.
December 18, 2017 - PnD violently let air for 2hrs.Dark purple garnet almost saturated with bloody to clear rim. Earth tar fennel espresso dark chocolate fig and blackberry on the nose. Medium weight with black tea tannins. Red and blue fruits on a very fresh palate touch of savoury elements. Lots going on at a great price just a bit hollow in the middle. Once again a Douro red that is more like a Pinot Noir than a Port. Would probalby buy again.
November 27, 2017 - Mineral nose and palate, but not in a good way— more like a vitamin pill. Cocoa and dried cherry notes. Might improve with more time, but I doubt it— just isn’t a great wine (WS 90 points is hard to understand).
September 18, 2017 - Nice, light, fruity wine. Not a lot of body but was tasty, especially with food. Enjoyed it
