July 24, 2023 - Dinner at Triple Crown (Chicago, IL): Oxidative and biscuity, with lots of browning fruit. Definitely on its way out, but I can still appreciate the density here. This did seem to start falling apart with air.

January 8, 2019 - Da var det plutselig noe å feire og opp av kjelleren kom en champagne Launois Père & Fils Special Club 2006:
På duft: »Hele bakeriet», sa mannen.
Farve: Gul / gyllen
Fine små bobler gir god mousse og fyller hele munnen med en kremete deilig følelse.
Lett, fyldig og elegant stil.
God syre og fin struktur.
Ellers finner vi sitrus, gule epler, noe grønt sukkertøy og hint av honning.
Vinen er balansert og harmonisk med lang ettersmak med først syrlig og så sødmefull utgang, mmmm.
Testet i Zalto champagne og Riedel Riesling, Zalto vant!
