January 24, 2024 - Tasted against 5 other 2014 bdx from other appellations (Gloria, Lafon Rochet, Potensac, Fombrauge, Reserve de la Comtesse) Double decanted, cork was very dry, had the fear for the wine itself, but proved unjustified. Merlot orientated which helped with balance, still a bit tannic and grippy and would say has a few years ahead. Medium, heavy body with cassis and herbs. Getting there. Was closed on opening before decant.

April 8, 2023 - Aromas of graphite, tar and some rusty iron. Soft and developed on the palate. Lacks some concentration.

January 6, 2023 - Has developed considerably since tasted 2 1/2 years ago, by having lost most of its initial fruitiness and power, and is now more lean and refined.

February 5, 2022 - Split. Textbook Moulis-en-Médoc. Blackcurrant, gravel, silt, moss, cut tobacco, funk, and minerality, on the bouquet and palate. Light to medium bodied, quality structure, balanced, suave, pure.

December 1, 2021 - This is a nice workmanlike and a bit plump Moulis. Has aromas of cedary raspberries, minerals, plums.cassis, mint and sous bois hints. Its medium bodied supple yet nicely taut smooth well oaked palate has very good depth, freshness and length. 13%. Needs 60-90 mins aeration. Lay down 5 years+. Decent value at 16 Euros.
