September 6, 2019 - Good, not great. Nose not as special as previous bottles.
Next day: Even with Argon laid over it, badly oxidized the next day. No ‘02, let alone a G C, should be this fragile. At least their GCs sell at 1er prices (and should).
August 25, 2017 - As usual, their wines usually show maturity far ahead of pretty much everyone else's. This has always been the most open of their '02 GCs, with a nose far more enchanting than the rest.
July 9, 2016 - This bottle did not have it - cork was fine, but wine was browning with a caramel note. Great floral nose, good acidity, short palate and finish
October 18, 2015 - Great nose. Well balanced. Let it breath for 90 minutes in the bottle before serving.
February 4, 2015 - Everything I remembered and expected from previous tastings. Just wonderful!
August 30, 2014 - Very good but soft bouquet. Long aftertaste. Solid Burgundy, ready to drink
May 3, 2014 - Good color and bouquet. Light, but very nice taste and long aftertaste. Ready now and will last five years, I believe.
March 14, 2013 - 2002 Burgundy Tasting: This one has definitely improved since my last tasting. Beautiful, heady aromas of barnyard, sweat, earth and cherries, with loads of complexity and layers. Rich mouthfeel, well balanced, luscious fruit. Yum! Top it off with a finish that won't quit, and this one is a real winner. I'm picking up a few more bottles!
December 31, 2011 - Much better than I expected for a 2002. Wonderful raspberry fruit on the nose with a bit of earthy overtones. Slightly more acidic than my tastes in the mouth, but still a delight to drink. Really long finish on this one. Drinking beautifully now but will get much better.
