December 29, 2018 - in an excellent spot. wonderful nose and elegant napa cab. still plenty of fruit and acidity with tannins mostly resolved. delicious
September 20, 2015 - Plenty of life left. No brown rim. Vibrant and complex.
August 7, 2015 - Decanted for 30 minutes and then served. Wine still seems young with great morale Eddie and layers of fruit. I think that's why needs years to develop, but be sure to give Debbie the bottle after you open it.
April 12, 2015 - Perfectly stored and purchased directly from the winery. Incredible nose. Deep garnet color. Surprisingly fresh and fruit forward with some glycerin showing. Concentrated classic Napa cab flavors. Shows the marks of the vintage. Beautiful example of an elegant wine in this style. Very polished. Still very much alive, should continue to age beautifully.
April 20, 2014 - Dark garnet color. Luscious dark fruit flavors with well integrated lengthy finish. Great balance but could use a little more character.
August 16, 2013 - Balanced, integrated, velvet on the palate. Long finish. Very long, very nice finish. The tannins were perfect. Lovely sense of the fruit the vines produced. 10 years old, and hitting its prime.
December 24, 2012 - No previous bottles to compare it to but it was a beautiful wine and ready to drink with a short 1 hour decant. It had aromas af cassis and leather with a big full body of dark spicy fruit, soft tannins and and a nice length to the finish.
November 14, 2012 - Best bottle of my 3, but just ok. Still tannic and a bit unbalanced. Fruit has receded and not likely to improve despite flashin some secondary flavors.
April 26, 2012 - Note and palate pretty dominated by plum and blackcurrant. Deep and dark. Long finish. Feels right now that the best part of it is the smooth and integrated tannins.
July 17, 2010 - Decanted for 2 hours before drinking. Very well structured. Smooth tannins. Finished lasted 30 seconds.
