February 28, 2018 - Better than previous bottle, with less off-putting funk.

July 1, 2017 - Had a little funk that, on day one, masked some of the typical Barbera character I love. Better on day 2, where much of that funk dissipated.

November 16, 2016 - A fruity, easy drinking, lighter bodied red that pairs very well with a variety of foods. Fun to drink, doesn't taste or feel mass produced. Slightly acidity structure supports a great finish. Consistent with my experience last year.

March 5, 2016 - Delightful, bright, red fruits - juicy raspberry, plums, red cherries, herbs; medium body; med acidity; mild tannins; long, fresh finish. Will be great this summer.

November 23, 2015 - Dark black shading to purple, very thin nose, initially jammy, but fading in the decanter. Mineral and perfume in the mouth, slow legs, finish is clean, not overly long. Tannins are not heavy, but definitely there. Drinking well, very satisfying. Second day, still very nice - went well on first night with fish, and a nice companion to a Caesar salad on the second. Fair amount of sediment in the bottle for a young wine, so be prepared on opening. I decanted for 4 hours, but didn't taste on opening to see where it would be for pop and pour, maybe on the next one.

November 8, 2015 - A very enjoyable soft and fruity Barbera which will work with a variety of foods from appetizers, to burgers, to pasta, to a Margherita pizza. Sweet cherries, smokey plums, and slightly tart red berries on the front of the palate, followed by a balanced mouthfeel, and solid acidity on the ending creating a strong finish. Should drink well for another coupłe of years.
