  July 4, 2018 - This was a lot of fun. Juicy red fruits, lot of spice, has depth but light and easy-drinking, too. Glad I got some of this from a magnum before it was gone!

  March 25, 2018 - Cassoulet at Bill's (Wilmette, IL): From magnum. Can't tell if this is a rose or a red wine (not that it really matters). I've disliked some of these wines in the past, but this one I actually sort of liked. There's almost a slight bit of Rayas character to the red fruit and white pepper on the nose. Of course, that's pretty much where it ends. The palate has a bit of that natural wine mousiness, a generous helping of red fruit, and a nice tartness from the acidity.

  February 18, 2017 - My 40th Birthday Weekend; 2/17/2017-2/20/2017: Dark rose, with classic carbonic notes and a red candy and fruit nose that belies the ample acidity and light-but-substantial body. Great stuff. Out of magnum.
