August 1, 2023 - Absolutely delicious. So aged in it’s orange appearance with whiffs of rummed orange creamsicle, with a bright acidic zing that comes back for the finishing punch. This is at total peak for stage 2 from a 1/2 but has the legs for overdrive. DRINK or Hold depending on your sweet desire

July 14, 2023 - Drank with friends over dessert at La Piquette in D.C. - another excellent showing with vibrant acidity to match the sweetness, and a brilliant nose. The friend who expressed not being a big fan of sweet wines was impressed at how well this paired with dessert.

July 8, 2023 - Pop and pour. Elegance in spades. Light botrytis compared to a 2009 or 2001 Sauternes vintage, butterscotch, brioche, dried apricot, dried peach, flowers, light nuttiness, pastry cream, ginger, black pepper. Very nice mouth feel.

Lovely Sauternes, we sipped this wine with cake and a few euchre games.
Nutty, dried apricot and melon, lychee and lovely botrytis.
