Community Tasting Notes 2

June 14, 2017 - Nose is of sweet powdered sugar nose with hints of pineapple and lemon-lime citrus. The palate is somewhat flat.

June 9, 2015 - Tuesdays at TDS: Moncuit Champagne (Table, Donkey, and Stick, Chicago IL): Nose: The nose is pure and wide open with almonds, pears, white fruits, acacia flowers, mineral tones, and a touch of green apples.

Taste: Medium bodied with medium/high acidity. The structure shows youth while there is a purity with almonds, baking spices, mineral tones, green apples, and pears.

Overall: This is a gorgeous, young extra-brut. The nose and palate scream Chardonnay, and it shows off that wonderful precision. This should evolve with time, and I would love to see where it goes.
