August 23, 2020 - This can be spectacular, but it didn't quite shine tonight. Deep, spicy, and succulent with touches of game there's nothing not to like here, but the intensity and focus was sub-par.

July 29, 2020 - Very pure and delicate wine. Still very young but it is delicious. Can’t wait to try it again in a few year. Great future ahead.

June 25, 2020 - Oh my my - it’s been a couple of years since I tasted this last and it is most certainly developing how I had hoped it would. Still young and slightly reticent on the nose, this nevertheless shows gorgeously pure and amazingly deep fruit, game, and leather. Similar on the palate which is super impressive for its cohesion and length. This is surprisingly accessible early and though it’s years from peak, this is just so unreservedly excellent now. Wow, gorgeous. I wish I could drink large quantities of this, often.

July 18, 2019 - 08972. Consistent with last bottle from a few months ago (same case), but much more approchable, and so much more intoxicating. Fruit has come around, sharing the bloody and woody nose with more sweet licorice, cherry and grilled herbs. Oak is notable as is the sheer elegance. The palate is so weightless, so edgeless yet precisely intense, dancing through the tip of tongue. 97

July 3, 2019 - Dinner at 21 Blvd, and a bargain on the list. This starts fairly brooding with more wood showing than fruit. An hour of breathing helps immensely and the last glass at ~3 hours after opening is the best. Very large scaled with serious concentration of black cherry that is laced with spice, meat and toasted herbs. The fruit has round edges and is fully approachable. Impressive that a wine with this much concentration is seamless at a young age. A true wow wine experience.
