April 20, 2024 - Armand Rousseau Dinner: Pronounced nose intensity with notes of flora, violet, red cherry, strawberry, graphite. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Long finish. Aeration in the bottle around 4 hours.

April 12, 2024 - A rather harsh rating, but this really fail to deliver what I was legitimacy hoping for. An inelegant and greenish pinot with slightly bitter tanins, medium bodied, and feeling a bit disjointed. I usually love Rousseau, I have a great souvenir of a 2006 Mazy (so-so vintage too), but this was not drinking well. I tasted the wine by myself over two days (pregnant wifey) and it did not get any better on day 2. Wine came directly from the domaine a short while ago.

July 19, 2020 - Subtle but ever present nose of brambly red fruit, spice and a mineral note. Light in weight but great flavors of mineral and spice. Nice balance. Great material and will age well. Not as forward as the 2013.

May 10, 2019 - Probably my best experience with Rousseau next to Ruchottes 2010. Nice cool nose of strawberry and cherry although on the darker side. Overall I rate Mazy 2014 a tick over 2013, but I found the nose slightly better on the 2013. Although I have to admit, given the price and reputation of Rousseau I have still not been completely floored by any of these wine (including Clos de Beze 2012) like I am routinely with the wines of Comte Liger Belair (any cuvee) and Roumier Cras.

May 5, 2019 - Her er vi i den sexy enden av skalaen.👌
    Deilig saftig frukt på smak.
Leken og elegant med pen konsentrasjon.
    Meget fresh.
    Slank denne også.
    Rent og deilig.
Ung, men ingen skam å poppe en.
Lang finish med finkornede tanniner. 92-93p

November 4, 2018 - Great night. Etienne Sauzet Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Le Perrières 2015: young and slightly lower than expected. However, this is a great producer. Armand Rousseau Mazy Chambertin 2014: powerful and intense. Great. Armand Rousseau Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos St Jacques 2014: spectacular.
