April 9, 2023 - This a survivor from a cull of sweeties which I made at auction a few years ago. I'm glad I kept this bottle. It showed vigorous pineapple infused fruit as well as some candied fruit, fine minerals, juicy fresh acidity and a butterscotch sweet undertow, which I would have taken for evidence of botrytis, had I not been informed by a grower that Jurançon NEVER sees botrytis. Very good.

December 24, 2021 - Perfectly mature now. Beginning notes of oxidation that interacts well with the dried fruits and orange flowers. Served with terrine de foie gras and the pairing went great with the very fine acidity from this wine. Great bottle that is ready now.

December 5, 2019 - À la Tienne!; 12/4/2019-12/7/2019 (Paris - France): White truffle and moist soil. Also floral and sweet. Pleasantly prickly on the palate, incisive and still long and sapid. It makes salivate immediately. Its time has come.

Trufa blanca y tierra húmeda. Floral y meloso también. Agradablemente espinoso al paladar, incisivo y aún así largo y sápido. Hace salivar de inmediato. Su hora ha llegado.

February 3, 2012 - Nose: Candied orange peal and vanilla.
Palate: Plenty of botrytis and oranges with a medium acidity.
Really a good wine and especially a high level for such a fairly inexpensive wine.
