The reduction from last year in barrel is now gone. This is prototypical Gevrey with meaty, dense black fruit. and prototypically Chambertin as well in terms of its density and regal structure. One of the absolute highlights in the room this afternoon.

January 13, 2016 - Great depth to the nose. Dark fruit and spices mixed with hints of minerality. Very powerful and tight on the palate. Well balanced, good fruit and acidity, the tannins are ripe and round. Very long and promising. 93-94+
