January 22, 2017 - Light Rutherford dust on the nose with light cassis fruit.

Nice tannins (7/10) integrated with nice vanilla and oak. Dark chocolate in the back finish.

Might have potential for a few more points

January 21, 2017 - Deep and dark ruby red. Very muted to start on the nose. After a few hours came through with some blackberries, cassis and deep floral undertones. A dit of dust in the finish too. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) which needs a little more time to fully integrate. Muted palate as well to start but after hour three or so it started to open up with black fruits on the attack with plush and dark mid palate. Undertones of baking spices, like vanilla, and baking cocoa. Full bodied with a long and lingering finish that had a mix of blue fruits and dark cocoa. Drink till 2027. (94+)
