  August 30, 2019 - Smoked meat dominates the nose, but some ripe strawberry pokes through. The palate is much lighter than the nose, with soft fruit at the forefront. Bright acidity and firm tannins lead me to think this might have 5+ years of life ahead of it. Great value at $9.

  September 18, 2018 - Medium ruby color with a slight garnet hue. Strawberry, cherry, dried fig and dill greet you on the nose followed by cedar, tobacco, leather, black pepper and dried rose. On the palate dried fig comes out first followed by tart cherry on the mid-palate with a pleasant finish of tobacco, dill and black pepper all under the umbrella of cedar. The body is a little lacking, but by no means does this wine feel harsh on the palate. Tannins and acid are there (medium range), I would not cellar this wine for too long. A pleasing finish that has some nice pepper spice. A wine that has a nice aroma and flavor profile, but lacks depth.

  August 17, 2018 - Medium dark red. Basic Rioja nose, BlackBerry, dill and earth. Dry berry and herb flavours and an incredibly dry tannic finish.
  
  This is pretty nice and very true to the region.
