December 3, 2023 - Near its peak. Better start drinking the other Black Widows.
Paired with braised short rib. Wonderful but needed time to breath.
A lot of ripe dark fruit flavors. -

December 30, 2018 - Very elegant Bordeaux blend. Tasted alongside the 2015 Hourglass over a roast prime rib dinner. Where the 2015 was fuller-bodied, fruit-forward and still a bit tannic the 2013 was medium-plus in body but fine integrated tannins in balance with evolving tertiary fruit. A delight.

May 22, 2017 - couleur pourpre très foncé, vraiment impressionnant. nez au début de cerise bing, cigare, réglisse à sauce soya champignon vers la fin. Au gout vanille, réglisse, pruneau déshydraté, long en bouche pas tannis, merveilleux!
