February 5, 2023 - Starting to exhibit tertiary characteristics but still has soft red fruit and floral aromas. Light and drinkable. Good for a few more years.

May 16, 2022 - Drinking well. Solidly outperforms the classification. Tart red berries with a pleasant herbal streak. There is surprising density on the palate, although the bright red fruits ultimately lack depth and complexity. Acidity through the finish keeps it fresh. Good combination with halibut and likely to be friendly to any lighter meal. A rare bargain and a pleasure to drink.

January 23, 2021 - Bright red cherry throughout, on the simple side but also with an old vine density. Good now, but there is still some unresolved tannin that should integrate better in another year or two.

November 18, 2020 - Sour cherries, cloves, red berries and some earthiness in this very drinkable wine that may get better still for the next 2-3 years

  • jhbehrens Likes this wine: 92 points

November 4, 2020 - Red fruit and blackberry on the nose with an air of smokiness. Light and drinkable wine. Got much better with 30 minutes of air. Likely to be close to its peak. Not complex but balanced and enjoyable
