June 2, 2021 - I agree with Jeff Leve's Note, honey suckle on the nose, lots of apricots, tropical fruit, honey on the palate, balanced by acidity to make this a great aged sauternes! 92/93

March 28, 2021 - On the orange tropical side of the style range with loads of sweet, honey-coated apricots, spice and flowers, the wine balances all that juicy, luscious, honeyed sweetness with the right amount of racy acidity. This is drinking just great today.

December 29, 2020 - DBKITC summarises the wine well. But I think mine was further advanced and on the decline. Hints of oxidation as well and the complexity I was hoping for after 15 years isn't there. I think if this were in larger format then there would be so much more to this

December 23, 2020 - Excellent wine that is drinking beautifully out of 375ml bottle. Dark gold color is followed by a super, exotic nose that has tropical fruits, botrytis, honeysuckle and grape jelly notes. Powerful, rich and explosive nose. Wow. The palate is viscous and extremely sweet with notes of bright fruit and creme caramel. Absolutely stacked with extract. Could the finish be a bit more complete? Maybe. Could it be a bit more complex? Sure. But this is a terrific showing and a really nice wine. (93)

November 27, 2020 - From 375mL. Deep golden-orange; aromatic, burnt orange peel, baking spice, honey; palate is full bodied, sweet but balanced by medium-plus fresh acidity, citrus fruits especially orange marmalade and orange peel, medium alcohol (14%); finish is medium length. Overall a very nice sauternes in a classical LTB style. 91-92
Over the first hour: Really excellent balance, but the finish is a bit shorter than ideal. Very similar impressions to my half bottle from a few months ago.
