Community Tasting Notes 19

January 18, 2012 - First glass right after opening was not great. But after an hour of decanting this wine was amazing. The color was a brownish, red, showing some aging of the wine. The nose had hints of fruit and slight vanilla. The taste was very dry on first tasting almost like a lemon burst in my mouth. But the glass after decanting was extremely well balanced and was very pleasantly surprised. I do not drink a lot a of Grenache, but after this bottle I will definitely explore more. The mouth was full of tannins and light acidity. The fruit levels of the wine had dropped quite substantially compared to previous tasters, but still pleasant for the palette. Really nice wine

August 5, 2011 - Still drinking very well. Not my usual style, but very well done. Bright but not candied at all. Great red for a summer evening. WS desciption is quite accurate. Excellent QPR.

March 21, 2011 - PnP. Deep red/brown, cloudy w/sediments. Nose and taste typical Grenache. Mid body, not chewy even with sediments, aged taste, good w/cigar with clean finish. Nothing off.

November 16, 2010 - Very nice, just like previous note. Even better day 2.
