March 29, 2023 - Nice colour and deep colour! Aroma of wild red fruits, and meaty fruits on the palate.
August 5, 2021 - Slight sweet caramel nose displayed on this occasion and once again, quite leathery! Rich dark fruits on the palate!
March 28, 2021 - The summer heat shows in this wine. So unfortunately this isn't one that escaped the cooked plum, overripe and under acidic features that affected so many Bordeaux wines. Clear browning on the rim with drying tannins. The faded fruit just leaves a moderate, average wine thats needs to be drunk. Paired with beef carpaccio and that's what lifted it somehow.
March 7, 2021 - Nose of sweet leathery red fruits, dark in colour, still a little tannic with a substantial size of dark leathery fruits!
January 28, 2021 - Wow. Big surprise. Eight hour slow ox followed by two hour decant. Just terrific with fillet on the grill. Notes to follow.
March 14, 2019 - Sweet and raisiny nose, tawny red in colour, you can still feel the extraordinary heat from the vintage, part of the skin must be burnt! Very interesting wine!
November 27, 2014 - Very hot vintage in Bordeaux! Deep ruby in colour! A touch of brown hue! Youthful appearances, nose of dark fruits! Beautiful! A little tannic and mouthful of fruits! Simple! Please pair it with food!
August 11, 2014 - Dry fresh claret. A good rich colour just starting to develop some brick hints around the rim. Nose is liquorice and leather. Lacks a little sophistication on the palate. A solid drinker in middle age.
October 25, 2011 - Purpurrot; tiefe Aromenvielfalt mit reifen Johannisbeeren, Kirsche, erdigen Tönen, Zigarrenkiste, Holz und etwas Schweiß; voller Körper, gutes Amalgament von Frucht, kernigem Tannin und Säure, langer Abgang; leckerer, typischer Wein!
