    March 14, 2019 - Sweet and raisiny nose, tawny red in colour, you can still feel the extraordinary heat from the vintage, part of the skin must be burnt! Very interesting wine!

    November 27, 2014 - Very hot vintage in Bordeaux! Deep ruby in colour! A touch of brown hue! Youthful appearances, nose of dark fruits! Beautiful! A little tannic and mouthful of fruits! Simple! Please pair it with food!

    August 11, 2014 - Dry fresh claret. A good rich colour just starting to develop some brick hints around the rim. Nose is liquorice and leather. Lacks a little sophistication on the palate. A solid drinker in middle age.

    September 12, 2011 - Starts to tune into a very good wine with nice acid freshness (!2003), ripe (not overripe) fruit, good to very good length. No decant, just open and drink. Excellent value, getting better while writing this really a joy!. 91+

    Some mineral/iron along with the bloody note.
    Soft on palate, quite smooth. Hint of spirit 'kick' on the finish but very good for an 03.
    Hits the spot. Enjoyable if not 'classic'.

    January 29, 2011 - Pop and pour. A very nice drink. Blueberries start to finish... and the finish was long. I need to go back to Costco and see if they have more.
