August 13, 2022 - Medium lemon in color. Notes of orchard fruit with some hints of citrus. Love the purity of the wine. There is no oak noticeable. Medium plus acidity, and the palate is drier than the nose. Medium length finish. Nice bottle but the QPR is not so great.

June 18, 2019 - My last 13 Allen chard. Sad to see it go but it was a delicious bottle on this warm summer night. Hazy pale straw in color, some lemon curd and other orchard fruits with a zesty finish.

February 18, 2019 - Funniest thing about this bottle was the very first sip--had a note of blue cheese, the one thing I can't stand to eat. Just after that though, the wine was perfectly wonderful. Medium bodied, great fruit, medium yellowish color. Really love the wines from Allen vineyard.
