November 10, 2016 - This definitely does not feel like a 20 years old wine. It's still showing lots of fresh fruit, very plummy. There is some meaty leathery notes, very slight. It's medium body, smooth tannin, with long finish.

6/14/2007 (link)(Radikon Merlot) Move over Masseto and Messorio this is the Petrus of Italy. Stony, minerally, plummy and tannic this wine has it all. Merlot character, incredible sense of place, brilliant acidity, sweet ripe tannnin and knockout finish. The wine is stuffed and is not overextracted (see Masseto, Messorio) and has just so much going on. Kept opening and getting more and more complex as time wore on.
