October 26, 2018 - This is a fun, unpretentious everyday wine. Good qpr. Nice fruit up front with a smooth finish. Pretty straight forward.

March 3, 2018 - A pretty typical Paso red. Not offensive. There’s some good fruit, some tannin, some oak, and a decent price.

January 6, 2018 - Liked this a whole lot, an easy drinking table wine with unmistakable Paso Robles profile. Sub-90 because it's not just fruit forward, everything is front loaded--no finish at all really. I thought the very unusual and large combination of grapes would yield more complexity but not that I could discern. It's just a fun pizza wine for $17.

    February 7, 2017 - Decanted.
Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Malbec, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Tannat.
Aromas of dark plum and forest blackberry are met with cracked black pepper, grill smoke, deep violets and hints of baking spice, boysenberry and sandalwood.
The bold palate is full bodied with above moderate slightly astringent tannins, acidity and alcohol. This wine shows a high level of concentration and deep flavors of black plum, boysenberry and and tart under-ripe blackberry that mix with grill smoke, pepper, crushed violets, and bramble with hints of sandalwood, herb and spice on the close.

Overall A good wine, if not somewhat simple, that perhaps could benefit from more time in bottle.

January 17, 2017 - Give it time to open. When first drinking it was disorganized, loose and too acidic; but after a solid three hours of being open it started coming together to present a nicely balanced dark berry with a wiry framework. Skip if you're looking to pop and pour, or give some time if to open.
