January 14, 2018 - Extremely bretty. I've tried this wine in the past and felt it was threshold, but this bottle was just horsey and overly funky, dry and puckering. Some sour fruit underneath but not all that enjoyable to be honest.

July 26, 2017 - Floral notes up front on the nose; violets, blueberries, with some bright red fruits. Similar taste on the palate, medium-bodied, not the longest finish in the world. Some earthiness comes out after an hour or so. Really did well with summer garden salad topped with grilled st am and pork from the night before. Great food wine! My wife loved it (an excellent barometer).
