  January 27, 2017 - Pretty restrained nose. Bit of peach, bit of melon, bit of lemon. Palate definitely has citrus, white peach, some oak, some chalk. It's nice. Decent follow through and acid to clean it up. Maybe just a smidge out of balance and lacking crispness on the finish which stops it being really good instead of just good.

  May 24, 2016 - Slugged back a glass with dinner. Perfect in that context. Two hours later enjoyed another glass slowly without food. Even more impressed. Rare that I enjoy a Chardonnay so much under close examination. Peach, lime cordial & barley sugar without the sugar if that makes sense, lemon, grapefruit, wet pebbles. A touch milky. Outstanding length and balance. Full credit to CM at www.winefront.com.au for most of my descriptors albeit tweaked for how the wine seemed to me. I read his review and couldn't unread it.... what can I say, he nailed it! Looking forward to revisiting this 5+ years from now, and may not be able to resist another sneaky bottle very much sooner.
